you know, the dust was a little bit
worse than I expected, and same
with the fog. But we managed to
push through and lost a little bit
of time. I handed the bike over to
my teammate Cody Simpson. He
had an incredible ride. Same thing
with Callum Norton, who got on
the bike along the coast section.
Callum then handed it back over
to me at Acambaro, and I brought
it in to the finish. The bike stayed
together. Everyone's safe. So
that's the number one thing. Zero
crashes. So, I'm really proud of
the boys. I think, you know, not
having any crashes or big mis-
takes is something to be said."
Daemon Woolslayer's Husqvar-
na team crossed the line in third
overall with a time of 9:24. The
15x trio of Woolslayer, Shane Lo-
gan and Kaden Lynn rode a flaw-
less race and finished 30 minutes
behind the leaders.
Miguel Monroy finished fifth
overall and won the Sportsman
Moto division, followed by Mauri
Herrera, who took sixth overall
and first in Pro Moto Limited
(under 400cc). Jesus Gonzales
soloed the 423-mile race and won
the Pro Moto Ironman with a time
just over 11 hours.
The 59th SCORE Baja 1000
is set for November 9-15 in San
Jose del Cabo, Baja California
