"He ended up going to lap five
[before pitting] so I went on four
to undercut the pit. I knew that lap
was kind of going to be the race,"
Roberts said.
But Oliveira's mechanical al-
lowed Roberts to ride his own
race for the final hour, well clear
of the pack by this point aboard

Though a mechanical forced him to push his bike to the finish where he was
credited with 35th overall, Mateo Oliveira and mechanic Tanner Peplinski
had wrapped up the championship at round six.

sailed to the Pro 250 win,
his seventh in a row, over
fellow Pro 250 rider
