and injured his toes but continued racing to salvage third overall and valuable championship points. From there, Baylor looked to teammate Toth's riding style to adapt to the conditions. "I saw that Josh was smoking me, so I knew from there forward it was get on your toes and try to keep that weight transferred smooth," Baylor said. "I tried to do my best 'Josh Toth impression.' "He's a hard rider to follow." Liqui Moly Beta's Jhak Walker con- tinued his late-season charge with another Pro2 victory and fifth overall. Walker found the wet, technical course to his liking and focused on staying smooth through the rocks and roots to put himself back in the center of the box. "Honestly, confidence," Walker said of what's changed for him this season. "Just knowing I can do it and going out there and doing so. Taking a step back, refining my riding and figuring out what I needed to work on has helped me a lot this year." Behind Walker, FMF KTM's Jason Tino had more than a po- dium finish to celebrate. Tino entered the day needing second place to clinch the 2026 Pro2 National Championship. After finding himself fourth early in the race, Tino turned up the pace through the final three tests and delivered when it mattered most, charging to second in the final test to secure the position he needed and wrap up the title one round early. "The back half, all I could think was send it," Tino said. "Timmy [Weigand, his team manager] was just like, 'Hold the throttle wide open and don't think.' That's exactly what I did." The championship comes during VOLUME 63 ISSUE 37 SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 P51 Jason Tino clinched the Pro2-class Championship. Jhak Walker won the Pro2 class on the day.
