Bulega to MotoGP, Miller to WorldSBK N icolo Bulega will make his full-time MotoGP debut with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team in 2027, while Jack Miller will leave the premier class after 11 seasons to join Yamaha's factory WorldSBK pro- gram, marking two of the biggest rider moves confirmed for next season. Bulega, 26, will step up from the Aruba.it Racing-Ducati WorldSBK team after dominat- ing the 2026 season to date. The Italian won the 2023 World Supersport title and has con- tinued to impress since moving to WorldSBK in 2024. Ducati thus renewed its relationship with Bulega, placing him with its factory-supported VR46 team alongside Fermin Aldeguer for MotoGP's new 850cc era. The move also feels like a homecoming for Bulega, who was part of the VR46 Riders Academy and raced for the team in Moto3 and Moto2 earlier in his career. For Miller, the move to the Pata Maxus Yamaha WorldSBK team ends a 15-year Grand Prix career that included 11 seasons in MotoGP. The 31-year-old Aus- tralian scored four premier-class victories and 23 podiums, with a best championship finish of fourth in 2021. Miller will join Andrea Locatelli in Yamaha's official WorldSBK ef- fort on a two-year deal for 2027 and 2028. Miller already has experience with Yamaha's R1, VOLUME 63 ISSUE 37 SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 P21 having competed for the manu- facturer in the Suzuka 8 Hours, and will remain within the Yamaha family after spending the 2025 and 2026 MotoGP seasons with Prima Pramac Yamaha.
