the Superpole win on home as-
phalt and then earned himself
a podium behind first-time race
winner in 2026, Can Oncu (Pata
Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) and
the determined rider of a lo-
cally prepped Yamaha, Roberto
Garcia (GMT94-Yamaha).
Championship leader Albert
Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha)
was knocked off by fellow Span-
iard Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki
WorldSSP Team).
He injured his right hand but
got back on for race two and
was even a contender for the
win yet again.
Spanish up-and-comer Gar-
cia ended up beating Arenas to
secure his first race win at his
team's home round. Champi-
onship challenger Debise was
third, after leader Oncu ran
wide into the final corner, losing
not just another win but any
flavor of podium prosecco.
In the championship, Arenas
leads Debise by a very healthy
70 points, 311 to 241. Three
rounds and a possible 150
points for a winner of every
single race are still on the
menu, but that's a big gap, even
if Arenas and ZXMoto must
surely be in line for rookie of the
season status for both rider and
machine, and Debise the award
for maturing like a fine wine in
