The cylinder head has been
reworked, with new intake and
exhaust port shapes and a new
finger-follower rocker arm for the
intake. The bore and stroke remain
unchanged, but the transmis-
sion ratios have been revised for
broader use across the rev range.
A new Nissin hydraulic clutch was
added this year, and the motor's
lubrication system now uses a
dry-sump layout. The entire
electric-start system was also
redesigned for quicker starting.
There's a new resonator on the
header pipe, and the muffler is lon-
ger and angled down 1.6 degrees.
The entire rear brake system
is redesigned for 2027. A smaller
disc is paired with a smaller cali-
per and master cylinder, resulting
in a total reduction of nearly half a
pound. The brake-pedal tip is also
new, with sharper teeth and
a replaceable design.
