RJ Hampshire had his best
day of the season, finishing
second overall. The Rockstar
Husqvarna rider has shown
speed all year but made it count
at the finale. A second place in
race one marked his best moto
of the summer, followed by a
race-long battle with former
champ Eli Tomac for most of
moto two. Hampshire's 2-6
scores were quiet yet consis

tent, putting him on the overall
podium for the second

Garrett Marchbanks put together
another consistent day for seventh
overall. He took sixth in the 450
points standings. "Today was alright,"
Marchbanks said. "I didn't feel my
best in qualifying, but I told myself to
do the best I could and see where we
ended up. I got a bad start in moto
one, and had to work hard through
the pack on a track that was difficult
to pass on, so I was happy to charge
back to sixth. I got a better start in
moto two and stayed consistent for
seventh. Now we'll reset and get
ready for the SMX Playoffs."
