McElrath Signs With Beta

eta USA has officially signed
Shane McElrath to a two-year
contract. He joins the Liqui Moly
Beta Race Team, where he is set
to campaign the Factory Beta
RX 450F in the 450SX division.
McElrath will compete alongside
teammate Benny Bloss over the
next two seasons.

Kove To MXGP for 2027
C
hinese motorcycle manufacturer Kove of-
ficially announced that it will enter the FIM
Motocross World Championship starting in 2027.
The brand was originally planning to contest the
EMX250 series but now says it will take on the full
MXGP World Championship with two riders. The
program is set to be managed by Tom Steensels,
who has previous experience running the TBS
Conversions KTM team. Riders and bikes for the
team have yet to be officially announced.
Kove confirmed the news via their social media,
saying, "Kove will enter the FIM Motocross World
Championship in 2027 with its own Factory Rac
-
ing Team. Two riders will line up in the MXGP
class, marking a new chapter in Kove's interna-
tional racing program. Led by team manager Tom
Steensels and his experienced crew, preparations
are already underway across development, testing
and team building. This is the beginning of a long-
term factory racing program with one clear goal:
to compete and establish Kove at the highest level
of motocross."
