At the front, Marc remained in control to take the win by MotoGP Sprint Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing Team) made a strong launch from pole, but Marquez out- braked him into turn one to take the lead. Alex Marquez (Gresini Ducati) then swept around the outside to grab second, dropping Bezzecchi to third as the leading trio quickly established itself. Marquez pushed hard at the front but was unable to com - pletely shake Alex, the gap hov- ering around a second for much of the 11-lap race. Bezzecchi remained close enough to keep the pressure on but never found an opportunity to attack, while Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM 36 JOAN MIR 16TH/12TH MOTOGP "Good to get a finish under our belts after the weekend that we have had, but I was left wanting more from to- day," Joan Mir said. "It was important to finish and build the confidence a bit even if we weren't exactly where we want to be. "We arrived in Aragon with few expectations because last year we had started from behind. I had done two decent races, but from there to being competitive was a different story. Instead, this weekend I was fast—first on Friday and pole position on Saturday.
