fourth overall despite crashing out

Julien Beaumer came into Unadilla
with a shot at the title, but a rough
10th-place finish saw him lose crucial
points. "It was a tough day at Unadilla,"
he said. "In the first moto, I got a good
start and then went down on lap one,
so I fought from the back in that one.
Then, yeah, second moto, a lot of rid-
ers went straight in the first turn, I got
caught in it and was dead last. I did
what I could to give everything I had."

Justin Barcia grabbed a top 10 overall
in front of his home state fans. "It was a
mentally challenging day," said Barcia.
"Practice was extremely difficult; I
struggled with bike setup and made
some wrong changes. Had the wrong
setup in the first moto, but we turned it
around in the second moto. I got more
and more comfortable as the moto
went on, and we ended up 10th overall.
I actually can't believe that with how
challenging the early parts of the day
were. So, all in all, we turned it around.

with Jett Lawrence in his best
performance of the year.
