RIDE REVIEW I 2026 YAMAHA TENERE 700 WORLD RAID
WO R L D R A I D S P EC
Yamaha didn't completely rede-
sign the Tenere 700 platform
when
introducing the World Raid
model here. Why would they? In-
stead, they took the latest 2025
T7
updates and supercharged
the bike with World Raid en-
hancements to extend the range,
comfort
and capabilities of this
popular ADV weapon. Here's
a breakdown of what makes a
Tenere 700 World Raid.
Headlining World Raid specs
are the visually obvious up
-
grades in fuel capacity and sus-
pension components. The dual
aluminum gas
tanks (yes, there
are two) bump fuel capacity up
to 6.1 gallons, nearly two gallons
more than the standard Tenere
700's single tank, which should
push ride range out to 300
miles. The tanks are separate
but linked, so they draw down
equally as fuel is used through a
connection hose and valve, but
you will need to fill each tank to
get full capacity at a stop. The
separation of the tanks keeps
each fuel volume separate to
reduce fuel movement and its
effect on handling. You can
clearly see the volume of these
big fellas in person. They are not
skinny, and their orientation on
the bike makes them ride wide.
Suspension components get
supersized with nearly an inch of
wheel travel gained in the front
and rear. Up front, a KYB 46mm
fork overshadows the standard
T7's 43mm unit and revised
spring and damping specs aim
to take the Tenere off road more
seriously.
The link-type piggyback res

Thanks to the broad shoulders of
its dual tanks, the Tenere 700
World Raid now has a more
substantial stance. But it still rides
like a smaller bike.
