with Senna Agius (Liqui Moly
Dynavolt Intact GP) 61 points
behind, even though the Aus

tralian failed to score at the
race
he won last year, finishing
a dismal 20th place.

David Almansa (Liqui Moly Dyna-
volt Intact GP) claimed a thrilling
Moto3
victory at Silverstone,
victory. With two laps remaining,
Gonzalez hit the front, but disas-
ter struck on the final lap.
Gonzalez crossed
the line
believing he had taken the win
and began celebrating, only to
realize the race was not yet fin-
ished. Holgado, reacting to the
slowing Gonzalez, took
avoiding
action and clipped his rival's
exhaust, damaging the champi-
onship leader's Kalex. Gonzalez
was forced
to nurse it home to a
hugely embarrassing 14th.
Holgado then had a huge
near-highside moment at Luff-
ield, allowing Escrig through for
third.
Salac held off Ortola to se-
cure his first Moto2 victory, while
Holgado
recovered to fourth and
Manuel Gonzalez (Liqui Moly
Dynavolt Intact GP) tumble from
victory contention to 14th.
Izan Guevara (bLU cRU
Pramac Yamaha Moto2) led the
opening laps, initially battling
Alonso Lopez (Italjet Gresini
Moto2), before Daniel Holgado
(CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team)
moved into second and began
pressuring the Spaniard. The
lead group eventually swelled to
six, with Gonzalez, Tony Arbo

lino (REDS Fantic Racing) and
Salac
joining the fight.
Arbolino briefly took the lead
before crashing at the Vale
chicane with four laps remain

ing, leaving Holgado, Gonzalez,
Ortola
and Salac to fight for
