Michael Hicks made it a mem

orable night for Stark Future as
he claimed the electric manufac-
turer's first-ever overall podium.
A third- and a second-place
result to start the night put Hicks
in a strong position for an overall
podium, and he capped the night
off with another bronze-medal
finish. The American rider used
Stark's power to secure three
great starts and now sits second
in the series standings.
"This means a lot for me,"
Hicks said. "I've been trying to
get a World Supercross ride, and
finally Stark gave me one and
the opportunity to come here. A
week ago, I was racing, crashed,
sprained my ankle—it's swollen
and purple. I've been limping,
so I didn't think that this night
would go like this."
Cameron McAdoo finished
third on the night. The American
rider was a last-minute addition
to the series and finds himself in
a peculiar situation. He raced his
usual Monster Energy Pro Circuit
Kawasaki machine but pitted out
of the Quad Lock Honda camp
and is enlisted under the Konsky
Motorsport Group umbrella.
Regardless of politics, McAdoo
used his veteran experience for
two top-fives in the first two gate
drops and saved his best perfor
-
mance for a second in the final
main of the night. Consistent
points put the Kawasaki rider
third overall in his first race back
from injury.
"That track's so much differ

ent from anything I'm used to,"
McAdoo said. "The racing was
so much different, and I had fun
tonight. I just wanted to take it
and learn, and honestly, I'm just
so grateful to be here. The whole

enough, because it's not some-
thing they had to do."
Suzuki's Kyle Peters took
fourth, with Canadian native
Cole Thompson rounding out the
top five.
