Washougal marked Eli Tomac's
second race back after his neck injury
sustained at the opening round, and
the former champ struggled in both
motos, finishing outside the top 10. "It
was a tough day at Washougal with a
couple of tough motos, but we made
it through the weekend healthy, which
was important. Now, we will do what
we can to keep improving with these
next two weeks off and try to be bet-
ter at the next race."

6TH (8-5) 250MX
Last week's winner, Julien Beaumer,
found himself on the ground in turn
one but salvaged sixth on the day
with 8-5 moto scores. "Moto one,
I was caught up in a second-turn
crash, which had me come from the
back, and in moto two I just didn't feel
great and was able to salvage a fifth.
Although it's not ideal, it's still points
scored, and we'll get back to work
and come out swinging for the final
three rounds."
