consistent 2-2 finishes helped ex-
tend his advantage over Camden
McLellan in the battle for third in
the championship.
"What a crash—that was a
stupid one," Laengenfelder said.
"But I kept him on his toes, the
speed was good, I just dropped
off a bit at the end."
Camden McLellan completed
another double Triumph podium
with third overall after charging
through the field in both motos.
The South African rider made
decisive passes on both Reisu

lis brothers and Liam Everts to
secure fourth and third-place
moto finishes. McLellan contin

ues to build momentum despite
now trailing Laengenfelder by
20 points in the championship
standings.
Liam Everts narrowly missed
the podium with fourth overall.
The Nestaan Husqvarna rider
ran inside the top three for much
of the weekend but a late fall in
race two allowed McLellan to
take over the final podium posi

tion. Everts continued his recent
run of consistent results with
another solid points finish.
Julius Mikula rounded out
the top five overall after a pair
of consistent rides for the
Osicka KTM team. The Czech
rider battled inside the top 10
throughout both motos and
rewarded his team with another
top-five overall finish, his second
of the season.
The biggest championship
development in MX2 came from
Sacha Coenen as he contin

ued to deal with the effects of
a collarbone injury from the
Southwick round of AMA Pro
Motocross. The Red Bull KTM
rider crashed in race one [on
his opposite shoulder] before
finishing 10th and logged a
fifth-place finish in race two. The
limited points dropped Coenen
to second in the championship
as Farres left Foxhills with an
11-point advantage heading into
next weekend's Czech Republic
Grand Prix.
