"Wild day," said Barcia. "The bike was a lot more comfortable, so we made a lot of progress there. It's been a lot of teamwork. The Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati team is working hard, and nobody is giv - ing up. It doesn't happen overnight, and it's been a tricky year, but it feels like there's finally some light at the end of the tunnel." Jorge Prado took third in moto two but finished sixth overall ahead of Dylan Ferrandis, Benny Bloss, Garrett Marchbanks, and Jordon Smith. 250MX The 250MX division is still any- one's race, and a catastrophic pileup at turn one flipped the championship points on their heads. Julien Beaumer emerged unscathed and became the fourth different winner this year in the 250 class. The Red Bull KTM rider charged his way from outside the top five and turned up the heat as the laps wore on. A thrilling last-lap pass saw him dive-bomb Michael Mosiman and steal the race win away with just a few corners to go. "That first moto, I just felt amaz - ing," Beaumer said. "About halfway mark I put in a good push, and when I saw two laps to go, I saw the gap, and I knew I had some areas where I could close it." Beaumer's second moto wasn't as clean as the first, as he fell late in the race while trying to pass for third. Still, a fourth place at the line proved enough for him to take the overall win, the first of his career. Beaumer now moves to second in the series points.
