he AMA NATC National
MotoTrials Championship
returned to the Turkey Rock
Trials Area in Howard, Colorado,
July 11-2, for the first time since
2019 for rounds five and six of
the 2026 season. Turkey Rock
demanded more than clean
lines from the NATC paddock.
At 6800 feet, thin air robbed

temperatures in the 90s turned

fatigue creating safety concerns,
the Pro and Women's Pro riders
stopped after two loops, taking
maximum scores on the third to
finish the day.

his strengths. Several sections
were unintentionally marked
with enough freedom to create
multiple routes, allowing riders
to customize their attempts
rather than follow one obvious
line. As trials riders searched
for the path of least resistance,
the Pro field found creative
ways through the rocks, finding
approaches that matched their
individual style.
Casales made the most of that
flexibility, selecting efficient lines
on his way to a flawless 36-clean
performance. Behind him, Roper
