First Look: 2027 Suzuki RM-Z450
F
or the first time since the
2018 model year, the Suzuki
RM-Z450 has received some
notable changes. Unfortunately,
it still has manual kickstarting,
but it did get what should be a
welcome suspension change.
Since 2018, the RM-Z450 has
come with Showa suspension
components, including the Bal
-
ance Free Rear Cushion (BFRC)
shock, which has never been
well-liked. For 2027, the fork and
shock have been replaced by
KYB components, along with a
new triple clamp.
With the new shock comes a
new air-intake system that Suzu
-
ki claims improves efficiency. It
also receives a new silencer that
complies with the latest AMA
and FIM sound regulations.
The 2027 RM-Z450 also
features upgraded RK Excel rims
with Bridgestone Battlecross
X30 tires.
The 2027 Suzuki RM-Z450
has an MSRP of $9699.
Eligible new 2027 RM-Z250
and RM-Z450 purchasers will
also qualify for the Suzuki RM
Army Package, now featuring an
exclusive Championship Replica
Graphics Kit inspired by Roczen's
title-winning machine and a Pro
Circuit T-6 exhaust system.
