in the upcoming 11 races. Guevara was three seconds back in third, with Agius just holding on to fourth from the late-charging Taiyo Furusato (HTA Kalex), who enjoyed his best Moto2 result comfortably. Gonzalez (195.5 points) was sixth, which meant his lead over Guevara (144) and Agius (136) was trimmed. Ortola (113.5) is up to sixth in the standings. Moto3 Brian Uriarte (Ajo KTM) signaled that Maximo Quiles (Aspar KTM) may not enjoy the cruise to this year's Moto3 title that the first 10 races suggested, after winning a brilliant late fight to secure a second GP win. This was Uriarte's finest weekend to date. Having taken pole on Saturday, he initially led four riders with Marco Mo - relli (Aspar KTM), Rico Salmela (Tech3 KTM) and Alvaro Carpe (Ajo KTM) tucked in behind. By lap 10, Uriarte and Quiles escaped in the victory fight, while a mistake from Carpe dropped him to 11th. Matteo Bertelle (MTA KTM) soon took his place in the three-way fight for third. At times, Uriarte could be seen grabbing at his leathers as Quiles moved by to lead. In fact, the rookie's chest protector had shifted out of place, and he was trying to put it back. The pair started the final lap together, with Quiles ceding the lead at turn three, believing he'd be better placed to attack in the final two turns. But his compatriot was too far ahead by then to hold on by six-hundredths of a second. "I didn't have this killer instinct to- day," admitted Quiles soon after. Bertelle snatched third from Morelli at the final corner, with Salmela fifth despite feeling numbness in his left leg from the fifth lap. Adrian Fernandez (Leop - ard Honda) was a lonely sixth. Quiles' lead in the standings (231 points) is still a healthy 104 points, with Uriarte (104) now second overall. CN ROUND 11 / JULY 11-12, 2026 SACHSENRING CIRCUIT / SACHSENRING, GERMANY MOTOGP I FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P98 Brian Uriarte (51) made a last-lap pass on Maximo Quiles (28) to win the Moto3 division.
