G&G Racing Yamaha's Hunter Bauer
backed up his Budds Creek fifth with
a second top five, this time taking ad-
vantage of the squad's excellent Mile
package. The Canadian ran with the
lead group early and then shook free
from the second group after falling
out of contention for the win, finish-
ing more than 10 seconds ahead of
sixth. He said, "It was a completely
different track from yesterday, but
we made a couple changes for the
heat race. It didn't work the way we
wanted it to, so we kind of went back
toward the direction of yesterday, and
it worked out. I mean, I ran a lonely,
lonely race in fifth place for almost the
entire race. It's my second top five,
so I'm happy with it. I wish I was able
to get to the top group and roll with
those guys, but overall, it was a good
weekend for us."
