Wood Wins RedBud Motocross Combine

he first SMX Next – Moto-
cross took place this week-
end alongside the 5.11 RedBud
National, where 25 of the world's
top amateurs lined up for the
Scouting Moto Combine. Mon-
ster Energy Yamaha Star Rac-
ing's Carson Wood came away
with a perfect 1-1 performance
to earn his first SMX Next victory
and also give his mentor Kevin
Windham the Coach's Cup, an
award presented to the top
rider's group coach.
