Registration Still Open for Cow Tag Event T he Trails Preservation Alli- ance (TPA), in partnership with Klim, says registration is still open for the 2026 Klim Cow Tag event, taking place July 17-19 in the heart of Colorado's world- famous Taylor Park riding area. Part motorcycle scavenger hunt, part backcountry adven - ture, and part trail-stewardship project, the Klim Cow Tag is unique. Every participant can spend part of their weekend giving back to the very trails they came to ride, making steward - ship as much a part of the ad- venture as finding the next tag. Armed with a GPX file contain- ing "Cow Tag" locations, teams of riders will chart their own ad- venture across Taylor Park, say the organizers. Along the way, they'll discover spectacular scen - ery, complete bonus challenges, earn points, and even spend time maintaining local trails alongside TPA staff and volunteers. It's a format that rewards explora- tion, teamwork and stewardship rather than speed. The weekend includes two nights of camping in scenic Taylor Park, three catered meals, trail-stewardship opportunities, live entertainment on Saturday evening, more than $7000 in product giveaways, hundreds of miles of legendary Colorado single- and two-track routes, and the opportunity to meet special guest, off-road instructor Megan "Megs Braap" Griffiths. "Ride with Megs" clinics will be held throughout the weekend at the Taylor Park Trading Post. Every registration directly supports the Trails Preservation Alliance's year-round efforts to protect, maintain and expand re - sponsible motorized recreation opportunities. "The Klim Cow Tag is built around the idea that we should leave the trails better than we found them," said Chad Hixon, executive director of the Trails Preservation Alliance. "You'll spend the weekend exploring some of the best riding in Colo - rado, but you'll also have the opportunity to spend a couple of hours giving back through trail maintenance. That stewardship component is what truly sets this event apart while helping us continue the work of protecting riding opportunities for future generations." With the event less than two weeks away, registration re - mains open for riders who want to be part of this one-of-a-kind weekend. Individuals are wel- come and will be paired with a team at the event, making it easy for anyone to join the adventure. Click here for more informa - tion and to sign up.
