Luca Marini (Hon) +20.669 But the 18-year-old was never lower than third. Taking control on lap 13, he quickly upped the pace to break the lead group apart. Only Almansa could live with his speed, and even he wilted on the final lap with Quiles taking a sixth win of the season by half a second—an eternity by modern Moto3 standards at Assen. The result was all the sweeter as title contender Alvaro Carpe (Ajo KTM) clashed with Adrian Cruces (CIP KTM) at turn five on lap two, ensuring his title lead would extend to nearly four races' worth of points. In their absence, Marco Morelli (Aspar KTM) ghosted through to third ahead of Valentin Per - rone (Tech3 KTM). Ricol Salmela (Tech3 KTM) crossed the line in fifth but had a six-second time penalty due to riding slowly on Friday. (Overnight rain had left the long-lap-penalty lane too damp to use in the first race of the day.) Quiles now has 90 points in hand over Carpe, 211 to 121, with Almansa back in third on 109. Bagger World Cup Eric Granado (Joe Rascal) and Oscar Gutierrez (Niti) took con- trol of the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup at round three by scoring convincing victories in each outing. Polesitter Granado blew the start in the first race, dropping behind Archie McDonald (Joe Rascal), An- drea Iannone (Niti), first-timer Jordi Torres (Joe Rascal) and Gutierrez on the way to turn one. But his recovery was swift. He was never headed once he retook control on lap four, with Gutierrez passing Iannone, with the Italian contending with an oil leak on his footpeg. Granado baulked off the line again in race two, and this time couldn't recover. Gutierrez dominated, leading each lap with Iannone behind. Granado quickly made it back to third, but then decided to avoid risk, ensuring a staid finish, with the top three well spread apart. ROUND 10 / JUNE 26-28, 2026 TT CIRCUIT ASSEN / ASSEN, NETHERLANDS ROAD RACE I FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P76 Oscar Gutierrez's race- two win moves him to within two points of the title lead in the Bagger World Cup.
