DNF/5TH MOTOGP
"I'm honestly exhausted, and I didn't
even expect to finish the race," Mar-
quez said. "We were unsure whether
I would be able to race today, and
with 10 laps to go, the plan was to
stop because physically I had nothing
left. Obviously, the position I was in
helped me stay mentally focused. I al-
most enjoyed it at the beginning, then
it became more about suffering than
anything else, but we're taking home
a good result, and now we know we
can compete in the upcoming races."
10 LUCA MARINI
12TH/11TH MOTOGP
"A tough one today, I felt like I had a
little bit more pace than the guys ahead
of me, but I was stuck there behind
them," Marini said. "In turn five on the
first lap, there were four or five of us
who all touched, and maybe I lost a
little piece of something. Once I got
past Miller, I was confident in my pace,
but when I arrived with Rins at the end,
I had to manage the rear so couldn't re-
ally attack. We got some more info on
what we need to keep improving, which
is always a positive. I think the result
we achieved was the best possible."

plaining of a lack of rear grip from the start.
Recovering from his usual early travails, Ogura was in
the mood by lap five when he jumped Martin for third at
