ROAD ATLANTA CLASH
It was a four-stroke versus two-
stroke battle at the 1980 Formula
One National at Road Atlanta.
Rich Schlachter (48), on the two-
stroke Yamaha TZ750, and Wes
Cooley (34), on the Yoshimura
Suzuki GS1000, went at it, lap after
lap, for the win. Schlachter held
Cooley o‹ to claim the victory.
