In the Bag
Buell owners can expand the touring capacity of any 2003-later
XB model with the new Tank Bag from Buell Accessories. This
bag is designed for a custom fit over the airbox cover and is
compatible with the airbox cover guard on the CityX XB9SX
model. The rigid body and lid maintain the bags shape, empty
or full, and the polyester construction is UV
and weather resistant. The bag
expands up to four inches for
additional capacity, and has a
see-through map holder,
waterproof zippers,
reflective trim, a
rain cover and
a removable
storage pocket.

A Good Rep
Repsol's new Moto Racing 4T oil is a fully synthetic
lubricant specially formulated for use in four-stroke
motorcycle engines. Repsol says that Moto Racing 4T
will perform in the most demanding conditions, such
as high-competition racing, both on and off-road. The
oil has been developed in collaboration with Repsol's
race program and has a wide range of viscosity for
both winter and summer use. Repsol also produces a
semi-synthetic oil called Moto Synthetic 4T 10W40.

Stealth Handguards
The Cycra Stealth DX handguard set has
undergone a few changes for 2006. First off,
a rubber-edge shield provides 20 percent
more protection than the original Stealth.
Also, the new bracket plate allows the hand-
guards to be installed above or below the
levers and move independently of the
handlebars. Alloy brackets and replacement
shields can also be purchased separately.

Super Clutch
The Controlled Engine Breaking (CEB) System from STM, a.k.a.
the "Slipper Clutch," eliminates the poor handling and traction
characteristics of a four-stroke machine upon deceleration. Used by
many top factory riders, the STM Slipper clutch lets the engine coast
more freely when the throttle is chopped, reducing
engine braking and unloading the suspension.
This allows the rider and machine to roll
through braking bumps and corners without
engine drag, thus providing greater traction
and improved handling. FMF also says it will
improve cornering speed, help prevent
engine stalling and will create "neutral" jumping
characteristics by decreasing rear-wheel inertia.
