for them is amazing." Seth Hammaker finished on the podium for the second week in a row, the only rider in the 250 class to do so this season so far. After qualifying first, the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider dominated the opening moto, leading every single lap. Hammaker looked to be grabbing hold of this cham - pionship, but a big pileup in race two spelled a different scenario. The points leader found himself on the ground in turn one but never gave up and somehow managed to take ninth after the 30-minute plus two-lap moto. He tied on points with Beaumer but still claimed third on the day and kept the red plate for another week. "In moto one, I got the hole - shot, led every lap, and hon- estly, it was probably the best outdoor moto I've ever ridden," Hammaker said. "Everything just clicked. In moto two, I got caught up with some riders in the first turn and had to come from way back. We fought all the way up to ninth, which gave us third overall, so I can't be too bummed about that." Cole Davies escaped the crash in the second moto and went wire-to-wire to win the race. Unfortunately, an 11th- place finish in moto one held him to fourth on the day. Jo Shimoda grabbed a podium in the first moto, but a sixth in race two dropped him to fifth overall. Nick Romano finished sixth, ahead of Max Vohland, Chance Hymas, Carson Mumford and Kayden Minear.
