Return of the Ninja
K
awasaki announced the return
of the Ninja 300 ABS for the
2026 model year. The Ninja 300's
run ended in 2018 when it was
replaced by the Ninja 400. Since
then, the Ninja 500 has evolved,
necessitating a true entry-level
sportbike in Kawasaki's lineup
again.
The Ninja 300 features a 296cc
liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine,
chassis stability inspired by Kawa-
saki's supersport machines, and
assist-and-slipper clutch technol-
ogy for "smooth, confident riding."
Visually, the 2026 Ninja 300
ABS's large-volume bodywork
and shape echo those of its
larger Ninja siblings. "Aggressive
dual headlights, a sleek tail cowl
and premium fit-and-finish details
give it a commanding presence,"
says Kawasaki. "From every
angle, the Ninja 300 ABS exudes
Kawasaki's signature supersport
styling while remaining practical
and everyday-friendly."
It has a curb weight of 388.1
pounds and a seat height of 30.9
inches.
It has a $4999 MRSP and is
currently available. CN
