4 CHASE SEXTON
7TH (11-4) 450MX
Chase Sexton fell in race one but
salvaged a fourth in the second moto.
"My result isn't where I expected it to
be, so there's definitely some frustra-
tion leaving Hangtown today," Sexton
said. "I got off to a bad start in moto
one and was fortunately able to pick
up my pace in moto two. We have a
few things to work through this week,
but I know what we're capable of."
199 DEACON DENNO
12TH (16-10) 250MX
250MX rookie Deacon Denno
grabbed a holeshot in the second
250 moto and ran up front before
dropping back to 10th. "I made some
big gains!" Denno said. "Qualifying
15th was a massive step in the right
direction for me, then running 11th
in moto one before a fall was posi-
tive. I came out firing with a holeshot
in moto two. I was so stoked to put
my bike out front. It was just a solid
day. I learned so much."
