they'd hover between 1-2 minutes
behind Krause.
Though the Dirt Bike Test team
remained unchallenged out front,
the race for second heated up
just past the halfway mark. The
two-man team of Krause and Keys
began to feel the effects of a long,
hot day on the grueling course,
allowing Stover's four-man team
to capitalize and make up time
overall. With just over three hours
to go, the number 281 GasGas
passed into second overall, where
they'd hold to the finish.
After 10 hours and 10 minutes
of racing, the checkered flag flew
for the Dirt Bike Test team, which
rode a near-flawless race to take
the victory aboard a near-stock
Triumph TF450-E enduro bike.
The Reezen Racing team finished
second overall and first in Open
Intermediate, while Krause/Keys
finished a respectable third over-
all and second in Open AA with
just two riders. The Skaggs Rac-
ing team finished fourth overall
and second in class, and Jeremy
Keech finished fifth overall and
claimed the Business class vic-
tory in the process.
The toughest of them all, the
Ironman class saw 29 brave
racers line up to complete the
full race solo. Grayson Pringle
topped the class with 36 laps
and finished an impressive eighth
overall despite starting on the
last row. Brian Roberts and Brock
Donaldson rounded out the top
three with 35 and 33 laps, re-
spectively. Maddy Weber finished
fourth in the Ironman class and
22nd overall with 32 laps.
Wyatt Ubrun's team won the
85cc Mini class, finishing 24th
overall with 32 laps. Malachi
Schade and Brayden Butterfield
rounded out the top three in the
Mini class. Other notable finish-
ers included Todd Davis' team
winning the 50+ Expert class,
Alex O'Neal's team winning the
125/250 Novice class, Ron Law-
son winning the 60+ class, and
Troy Armstrong claiming the 30+
Expert class.
