Lettenbichler Wins Fifth Consecutive Erzbergrodeo O n Sunday, June 7, Red Bull KTM's Mani Lettenbichler captured his fifth consecutive victory at the Red Bull Erzber- grodeo, making him one of only three riders—alongside Taddy Blazusiak and Graham Jarvis—to win the race five times. The event marked its 13th edition. Despite a few get-offs, Lettenbichler led the 2026 race from early on, finishing in three hours and five minutes. He was among the 15 riders to finish within the four-hour cutoff. He took the lead shortly after the 10-minute mark and held it for the rest of the race. "It was such a tough race, and I didn't have the best start. It was kind of dusty and motocrossy at the beginning," Lettenbichler said. "I hit a rock and almost crashed, so I slowed down a little. Then I pushed to get back to Mitch, and the speed was insane until we got to Carl's Dinner. Then I was able to push hard and pull a little bit of a gap. What a mega day. It's unreal to win it another time." AMA Hard Enduro Champion Trystan Hart finished second in a three-hour, 14-minute ride for his FMF KTM Factory Racing team. This was the Canadian's fourth podium finish in the last five years and his second runner-up finish. Hart quickly moved into third, but a likely bent rear sprocket caused his chain to derail multiple times, costing him time. He still man- aged to pass Mitch Brightmore WIND IN THE P34 for second before checkpoint 12. Despite Brightmore passing him back and a large group of riders closing in before checkpoint 23, he pulled away in the final stages. "I just made a couple of mis- takes early and lost a ton of ener- gy. And maybe I bent my sprocket or something because my chain came off like 12 times," Hart said. "It's all good. Mani rode good, I rode pretty good, honestly, just a couple of mistakes, but other than that, pretty good." Spain's Mario Roman rounded out the podium on his MR74 Rac- ing Husqvarna in three hours and 18 minutes. Roman had to work his way up from outside the top 10 at Carl's Dinner checkpoint 10 to eventually take over third place before checkpoint 23 of 27. It was an impressive ride through the pack for the rider now competing on his own team. Sherco Factory Racing's Teo- dor Kabakchiev finished fourth after a tight battle with his former teammate, Roman. The Bulgarian ultimately finished almost four minutes behind, with a time of three hours and 22 minutes. X-Grip GasGas Racing team rider Mitch Brightmore rounded out the top five in three hours and 24 minutes. The British rider was the early leader and the closest challenger to Lettenbichler. He held second position through checkpoint 10 at Carl's Dinner before Hart overtook him. Eddie Karlsson finished ninth on a Stark Varg electric bike, becom- ing the first-ever finisher on an Mani Lettenbichler dominated the 2026 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo, securing his fifth consecutive win at the "Iron Giant." He joins Taddy Blazusiak and Graham Jarvis as a five-time winner.
