AXP Racing has added to its line of Adventure Skid Plates (P/N
AX1829) to fit 2024-26 BMW R 1300 GS models. Compatible with
the BMW's crash bars and centerstand, the black skid plate is
made from 8mm-thick HDPE plastic and protects the engine
block and exhaust system. Its reinforced mounting system anchors to the engine
block and acts as a buffer to prevent direct stress. Up to 40 percent lighter than its
aluminum counterparts, weighing just 5.5 pounds, the HDPE material reduces noise
from projectiles and returns to its original shape after impacts.
