VOLUME 63 ISSUE 22 JUNE 2, 2026 P77
Justin Cooper earned a podium
finish in race one but just missed
the overall podium in fourth.
"3-6 for P4 overall to start the
outdoor season at Pala," Cooper
said. "Bummed I put myself in a
bad position with a 17th-place
start in moto two. I'm happy
with my bike and ready for these
next few rounds."
Haiden Deegan made his
450 debut at Fox Raceway and
Jett did not win. Third overall
leaves him 12 points down from
his brother, Hunter.
"Motocross is a lot harder
than I remember," Lawrence
said. "I was just trying to figure
it out today. I found out what
arm pump was in the first moto.
It wasn't the best conditions
for my foot, but I thought I rode
great. I just didn't get the starts
today and need to work on that."
Two poor starts made things
tougher, forcing Lawrence to
pass through traffic in both
motos. He improved as the
day wore on and nearly caught
Prado for second in the final
moto. His 4-3 finishes were
not what we expected from the
number one, as he limped onto
the podium after the checkered
flag. Hard to believe this was
only the fourth 450MX round
PENALTY REPORT
Gavin Towers was penalized two
positions for going off track and
gaining an advantage in moto one.
Russell Buccheri and Gavin Betts

in the track section, and both re-
ceived one rider license point each.
