able to hold a candle to
Hayden Gillim (69) in the
Baggers right now. The
Kentuckian doubled up
again at Road America
and has 25 points in
hand over teammate
Troy Herfoss.

"I definitely think riding a
superbike as well here helps,"
Gillim said on Sunday. "Being
able to know what the track is
like right before I go out. What
an awesome weekend. What
an awesome start to the year.
It's going to be a long season.
I know both of these guys are
coming. I'm pumped for these
guys. I'm pumped for myself."
While Gillim pulled clear at the
front, Wyman and Smith spent
much of the race battling for
second place. The teammates
traded positions repeatedly be

fore Smith emerged ahead in the
closing
stages to claim runner-up
honors. Wyman crossed the line
in third, giving Harley-Davidson x
Dynojet Factory Racing two rid

ers on the podium for the second
consecutive
race.
Gillim now stands 25 points
clear of teammate Troy Herfoss,
132 to 107 with Smith third on 91.
Twins Cup
The Twins Cup class pro-
duced two close races at Road
America, with Bodie Paige
(M4
Ecstar Suzuki) and hometown
rider Hank Vossberg (Robem
Engineering Aprilia) sharing the
victories.
Saturday's race one saw
Paige earn his first Twins Cup
win and third podium of the sea-
son. He took the win by 0.047
of
a second ahead of Jody
Barry (Righteous Racin' Aprilia),
who returned to MotoAmerica
competition after several years
away while honoring late team
owner Ray Hofman. Vossberg
completed the podium in third,
