Scott held on for second place,

sweeping both races and
extending his streak to three
consecutive victories.
In Saturday's race one, Tyler
Scott (M4 Ecstar Suzuki) started
from pole position after break
-
ing his own Supersport lap
record from a year ago. Early in
the race, Scott settled into third
place behind Binder and Josh
Herrin (Rahal Ducati Moto with
Desnuda Organic Tequila), who
engaged in a fierce battle for the
lead aboard their Ducati Pani
-
gale V2s.
With two laps remaining,
Scott attempted to join the fight
for victory but crashed while
chasing the lead pair, ending his
challenge. The incident promot
-
ed Kayla Yaakov (Rahal Ducati
Moto with Droplight) to third.
On the final lap, Herrin made a
late attempt to pass Binder but
ran wide at turn one, allowing
the South African to secure his
third victory in five races. Herrin
finished second, while Yaakov
completed an all-Ducati podium
with her fourth podium finish of
the season.
