bigger track.
On a track where the lines
converged, making overtakes
increasingly challenging as the
Bauman came in on the
strength of two consecutive
dominant outings in California
that qualified as spectacular.
In Ventura and Chico, the Rick
Ware Racing pilot led every lap
at the former, and every lap save
the opening circuit at the latter,
running away at the front both
times out aboard his Harley-
Davidson XG750R.

The 14th-place main-event finish was
the lowest of the season to date for
Schaffers MotorSports/RVR's Logan
McGrane. And yet, the round also
provided him his highlight of the year
so far. McGrane not only qualified on
the front row and participated in the
Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge, he
won it by passing Dallas Daniels and
outpacing Briar Bauman and Chad
Cose. After his dash victory, McGrane
said, "Oh yeah, this is awesome, man.
It's a dream come true. I didn't expect
this at all. It's just this team has been
grinding. I can't thank Schaffers Mo-
torsports, RVR racing, and everyone
else who helps us enough."

Walker Porter has been flirting with
a maiden pro podium finish, and
ThrottleFest proved the latest tease
in that regard. The Alabaman was
running strong in second, but a hard
move on the part of Chase Saathoff
not only dropped him from the
position but out of the running for
MYOWNRACE
Bauman is third in the championship but is
creeping closer to points leader Kody Kopp
and second-in-points Dallas Daniels (1).
