ANOTHER LEGEND LOST
The flat track community lost
another legend, Mike Kidd. Kidd
won the GNC title in 1981 after
a season-long battle and a last-
round showdown with Gary
Scott. Kidd went on to become
a standout motorcycle-racing
promoter, often credited with
creating the AMA Arenacross
Series. Kidd was 72.
