all-time. Next week's race will be
a nailbiter between these two.
The scenario is simple: whoever
finishes ahead of the other will
take home all the marbles.
"It was a great race; I'm
honestly happy with it," Roczen
said. "I just wasn't fast enough,
all day, really. I know I had
a great lap in qualifying, but
Hunter was on it all day. Once I
got into second, I tried a little bit

tention while Lawrence moved
to
the lead early in the race.
He eventually found the heat,
passed into second, but couldn't

PENALTY REPORT
In the main events, everyone was
on their best behavior in Denver.
No racing penalties were issued,
but a couple were issued in the
qualifiers and heat races. In one
incident, Race Direction reviewed
video evidence of a rider-interfer-
ence incident in which Crockett
Myers' mechanic contacted an-
other rider with a pit board during
the race. A fine was issued to the
mechanic.
SAVATGY SIDELINED
Joey Savatgy earned a season-
best fourth one week ago but
took a big fall this week during
the 450SX qualifying session,
which ultimately forced a red
flag. The crash resulted in a
dislocated wrist, and the Quad-
Lock Honda rider did not line up
for the night show. "Tough day
at the office yesterday," Savatgy
said via social media. "Had a big
one in qualifying that left me with
a dislocated wrist. Scans at the
medical unit and hospital showed
nothing broken. I'll have another
scan this weekâfingers crossed
everything checks out."
WEBB OUT OF POINTS
A late-race fall in the 450SX main
event saw the 2025 Supercross
champ, Cooper Webb, finish 11th,
his worst result of the year. It was
Webb's only non-top-10 finish in
2026, officially putting him out of
championship contention.
