Garcia was untouchable on
day two, as well, finishing the
day nearly 40 seconds ahead
of his teammate Verona, who
topped Enduro2. Pichon was a
distant third, with Husqvarna rid
-
er Axel Semb of Sweden fourth
and
Sherco's Steve Holcombe of
Great Britain in fifth.
After two rounds, Garcia leads
the EnduroGP Championship
with 75 points, followed by Ve
-
rona on 64, and Pichon on 45.
"It's
been a perfect weekend
for me—fastest on Friday, the
win on Saturday, and another
win today," Garcia said on Sun-
day. "To take another victory in
both
the overall and Enduro1 is
an incredible feeling, especially
here at my home round. I felt
good on the bike all weekend
and was able to make the most
difference in the enduro test,
which helped me manage the
rest of the day. Everything came
together perfectly, and I enjoyed
the racing."
"It's been a positive weekend,"
Verona said. "Finishing second
overall and taking the win in
Enduro2 is a strong result for
the championship. I felt fast and
comfortable on the bike, even if I
was missing a little bit of flow in
the enduro test, similar to yester
-
day. I also had a small crash on
the final lap,
which didn't help, but
overall, I'm happy with my per-
formance. The conditions were
really
tough all weekend."
