Coty Schock qualified for the
main with a win in the LCQ and
took fourth after running in a
podium position for most of the
race. Last week's winner Nate

SMX Next
Championship
Philadelphia hosted the final
championship round of the SMX
Next – Supercross, with the top
18 amateur prospects battling it
out in challenging conditions.
Deacon Denno and his Tri

umph Factory Racing machine
got away
cleanly through the
first turn, giving him a clear
track to build a gap over the
rest of the field. Behind him,
Monster Energy Kawasaki Team
Green's Kade Johnson settled
into second, while KTM Orange
Brigade's Jeremy Fappani slot

ted into third.
The field quickly spread
out
as riders navigated the rain-
soaked track, with Denno's lead
growing to more than six sec
-
onds over the pack. The Texas
native kept
his Triumph on two
wheels and easily completed a
wire-to-wire performance, win-
ning by 9.3 seconds, the biggest
win
of his young career.
Johnson went unchallenged
en route to a runner-up finish,
while Fappani rounded out the
championship podium in third.
Triumph rider Deacon Denno won the
SMX Next race and wrapped up the
five-round SMX Next – Supercross
AMA National Championship.
