Seth Hammaker started the
night with a big win but ended
up finishing fourth overall. A
crash at the start of race three
spelled trouble for Hammaker,
as he only made it up to sixth
and tied in total points with Da
-
vies. This marks another round
where Hammaker has lost
points to Davies; he now sits 21
down with two rounds left.
"The track was in great shape
early on before the weather
came in, and I felt strong in
the first race getting the win,"
Hammaker said. "After that, the
conditions changed a lot with
in the points leader's plans, as
he was off the podium again
in fourth. He found his mojo in
race three, and a dominant win
gave him the tiebreaker needed
against rival Seth Hammaker
for third overall. By finishing
one spot better, Davies gained
more ground in the 250SX East
Championship.
"It was a rough day, but we
still managed a podium," Davies
said. "I didn't give up and fought
through. Just reset for the last
race and got the win. It is what it
is. Congrats to my teammates;
they were riding good."

podium position before finish
