was penalized for riding across the green paint at the apex of the final curve, such was the fe- rocity of the fight for the podium places. Fifth was Lucas Mahias, the Superpole winner from Friday, on his GMT94 Yamaha. Race two's podium featured Arenas in second place again and Ten Kate Yamaha's Can Oncu third, with a special anni - versary paint job on his Dutch- prepped R9. Booth-Amos was fourth this time around, while one-time race leader Alessandro Zaccone (Ecosantagata Althea Rac - ing Ducati) placed fifth, ahead of even championship leader Masia. After the Assen races, Masia leads Arenas by just one point, 106 to 105, with Oettl now third on 79 points and double Porti - mao race winner Debise on 72. WorldWCR Race one's top two riders— winner Maria Herrera (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR) and runner-up Beatriz Neila (Ampito Crescent Yamaha)— would share top billing again after race two, but this time around it was Neila who would take the win, after an audacious final sector pass and sprint over the line to win by 0.17 of a second. It was marginally less close than Herrera's margin of 0.083 of a second of Saturday's vic - tory. Roberta Ponziani (Klint Racing Team) was third in race one, after a big crash involving Paola Ramos saw several riders out of action. Sunday saw a French rider in a French team, Lucie Boudes - seul (GMT94 Yamaha), finish a surprisingly clear third, with a true battle for the points going on right behind. In the points, Herrera has 90, Neila 77 and Ponziani 52. Gordon Ritchie WorldSBK Race One (Top 10) 1. Nicolo Bulega (Duc) 33:12.444 2. Iker Lecuona (Duc) +1.618 3. Sam Lowes (Duc) +2.923 4.
