Mathew Scholtz made a near-
perfect return to the topflight of
American superbike racing at
Road Atlanta over the weekend.
After stepping back to the
Supersport category for the last
two years and taking two titles,
Scholtz returned to MotoAmerica
Superbike for 2026 and took pole
and an emotional win in race one,
followed by a close second in
race two. Here, the weight of
Scholtz's race-one triumph sinks
in on the cool-down lap.
