T
he time is now in the SuperMoto-
cross World Championship. This
holds
true for riders looking to
break away in the championship race
and those who need to close ground to
stay in the points hunt. Round 13 of the
2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross
Championship took place in Nashville,
Tennessee, for a deciding night inside
Nissan Stadium. Despite the on-track
chaos, both championship leaders,
Hunter Lawrence and Cole Davies,
emerged victorious.
450SX
Hunter Lawrence needed this win. After
a big crash in Detroit left him with a
sore wrist, the co-points leader arrived
in Nashville fully recovered and ready to
capitalize. He started just behind cham-
pionship rival Ken Roczen and stalked
him for the first
half of the main event.
Lawrence moved to the front when
Roczen bobbled and botched the triple
jump, allowing the number-96 Honda to
sneak by with 10 laps remaining. This
win proved crucial for Lawrence, as he
beat both of his main competitors, Roc-
zen and Eli Tomac, with Tomac facing
his
fair share of struggles on the hard-
packed track. Lawrence now holds sole
ownership of the championship lead by
10 points with four rounds remaining.
"It feels great [to be back on top
of the podium]," Lawrence said. "I'm
so happy my wrist wasn't holding me
back today. That's probably the cool-
est thing. Every Saturday, I want to go
out and
have no limitations holding me
back from anything. It feels like a home
race with my collaboration with Gibson
[Guitars] and how welcoming everyone
is, and I always look forward to coming
back."
