said. "So, it feels awesome [to
be on the top step of the podi-
um]. It felt like old-school enduro
trail out there, banging bars,
knocking bark off the trees; it
was a good day. I hit the ground
like five times today. I was just
sending out there in the tight
trees. After tests two and three,
I started feeling good. I just had
to keep it on two wheels, which
I didn't do, but it still worked out."
"This is my last year doing
this, and I think I'm on the right
path," Steward said. "It's a little
frustrating. I've won the first test
in every race this season, and
somehow I go backward. That's
not typical for me. Normally, it's
the opposite."
"[Grant and Steward] were
on another level today," Draper
said. "I was just trying to salvage
some points. Ryder and I battled
it out all the way to the end, but
it was a good day, good points,
good to be back on the podium.
Grant and Stu, we're ripping."
Draper still leads the champi
-
onship, now by nine points over
Grant. Steward is another six
points back in third.
