interviewed Mann, better known as "Bugsy."...
We had coverage of the opening AMA National
Motocross round from Hangtown. Jimmy Ellis
won the 250cc class and Bob Hannah the 125cc
class... We also covered the Great Bear Grand
Prix, won by Jim Fishback.

30 years ago, with Luca Cadalora taking the win and
Max Biaggi winning the 250cc GP... Jeremy McGrath
extended his perfect season win record to 10 at
the Indiana Supercross at the RCA Dome; Mickael
Pichon won the 125cc East main... The AMA/NATC
National Trials Championship got underway in
Lucerne Valley, with Geo Aaron winning.
