was still holding me back from being
able to push how I wanted to in the
race. I felt like the speed was there in
spots, but I just wasn't able to ride to
my full potential and felt like I just had
to manage the race. There are some
positives to take, but I know I've got to
be better."

Malcolm Stewart finished outside the
top five after his season-best result
one week prior. "Normally, St. Louis
dirt is good, but it felt like this year
was one of the hardest visits here that
I have had in my whole career. This
was super tough, so overall I'm happy
to have made it out safe, and now we
can look forward to next weekend. I
felt great here all day, but the track
broke down a lot after the heat race,
which made for a long night."
