Aprilia X 250th Unveiled at COTA A prilia has unveiled its latest ultra-exclusive track ma- chine, the Aprilia X 250th, the sixth edition of the X series de- veloped under its Factory Works program and revealed during the MotoGP weekend at the Circuit of the Americas. Created to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence, the X 250th will be produced in a run of just 30 motorcycles, with a strong focus on the U.S. market. As with previous "X" models, this is a closed-course-only machine that showcases the brand's most advanced racing technology outside of MotoGP. The foundation is derived from the RSV4, but the X 250th takes performance up a few notches. Its 1099cc V4 engine has been extensively modified with an increased compression ratio, a Sprint Filter high-permea - bility racing air filter with racing- spec airbox intake trumpets, an SC Project titanium dual-pipe exhaust, and STM dry clutch, delivering a claimed output of 240 horsepower. One of the most notable features is the use of carbon- carbon brake discs, a production first and technology typically reserved for MotoGP. This marks a rare opportunity for private owners to experience braking performance similar to that used at the highest level of the sport. Aerodynamics have also been pushed significantly forward. The full carbon-fiber bodywork is inspired by Aprilia's RS-GP MotoGP machine and incorpo - rates winglets and airflow man- agement designed to increase stability and front-end feel under hard acceleration and braking. Weighing in at approximately 363 pounds dry and carrying a price tag of $150,000, the X 250th stands as an elite offering aimed squarely at collectors and dedi - cated track riders seeking a near- factory racing experience. CN VOLUME 63 ISSUE 13 MARCH 31, 2026 P33 Equipped with MotoGP-style brakes, the ultra- exclusive Aprilia X 250th in a limited- run of 30 can be had for $150,000.
