Cole Davies defined the 250SX
main event in Detroit. The
Monster Energy Star Racing
Yamaha rider started way back
in ninth and gave fans a show
as he made his way toward the
front. His blazing whoop speed
set him apart and allowed him
to set the fastest lap of the race
as he closed in on Seth Ham
-
maker. Davies was in a league
of
his own and quickly extended
his lead to more than 10 sec
-
onds over the next rider. This
marks his
third straight victory

aged his front brake in the crash

Hill, Joey Savatgy and Garrett

knew I was going to take
advantage of [Hunter Law-
rence's crash] once I saw that
he
was a lap down, but overall,
it was a bit of a frustrating day
here," Tomac said. "I have actu-
ally struggled here with my last
couple of
rides, so I don't know
what it is. I just haven't had the
best success at Detroit lately,
and maybe I've been in a bit of
a midseason slump. So, we'll do
