Prado took seventh ahead of Colt Nichols, Jordon Smith and Garrett Marchbanks. 250SX East/West Showdown The 250SX main event experi- enced some controversy as the top riders from each division gathered for the first East/West Showdown. West Coast points leader Haiden Deegan made a strong push after starting 10th, aggressively navigating through the top 10. Once he took the lead, Deegan pulled away and crossed the finish line first by more than three seconds ahead of his teammate, Cole Davies. After the race, Deegan was penalized for cutting across the split-lane track markers. Race Di - rection considered this as "track cutting" and assessed Deegan a one-position penalty, which moved him from first to second for the night, effectively ending his win streak. He remains the top 250SX West rider and keeps the points lead in that division by 42 over Max Anstie. "Everyone knows who won," Deegan said.
